Sausage dogs in jumpers | Busy B stationery

For being a horribly unorganised person, I sure do love stationery, notebooks, planners, etc. Maybe I like the illusion of being organised but once I try to put it into practice it falls apart. In a odd turn of events I received this package from Busy B a day after my post getting a head start on 2017 went live so I'm taking it as a sign that I can and will achieve my goal of being more organised! I was very excited to open this and how could I not be? Everything you see above is from their Cute range and it's covered in dogs! (There is more to the cute range than just dogs but as an avid canine lover, this was perfect for me)

I was very kindly sent the Mini Desk Calendar*, Mini Notebook*, Dog Page Markers* and Dog Paperclips* from Busy B's Cute range and it's right up my street! Anyone who knows me, knows I love a dug. I look after them all day, most days, we have our own furbaby and no matter where I am, if I see a dog I will exclaim 'Oh my god, floof' so out of everything they sell, this range was just the ticket. Although, I have already started eyeing up their couples calendar as it would be perfect for Euan and I to keep track of everything. I can definitely see that being purchased before the year is out.
I particularly love the sausage dogs in jumpers theme running throughout these products (who doesn't love a dug in a jumper?) and the bone shaped paperclips. So much so that I can see myself finding new ways to use them everyday. Oh what's that Euan, we got three letters today? Better paperclip them together so they don't get lost. The page markers could be perfect for dropping some not so subtle hints with Euan actually, maybe not for Christmas as it's a bit close but our one year anniversary is in January so I could leave a couple catalogues lying around covered in these cuties. When I say catalogues, I really mean those Lidl pamphlets with their super cool deals in and printouts of the Superdrug website...
This mini desk calendar is going to be perfect on surprisingly enough, my desk! Our livingroom has recently been reorganised and with this has come the birth of my own little blogging desk, sure I'll need to share it with Euan sometimes but it's mostly going to have all the things I need to blog on it just so they're all together and (time for my favourite word of November) o-r-g-a-n-i-s-e-d. I'm going to see if I can come up with some type of code for filling it out, for example on blog post days the date has a square around it, birthdays are cirlces, etc etc.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the mini notebook if I'm honest. Usually on wee notebooks like this the pencil often isn't included and if it is, it's either not attached to the notebook or is with really flimsy material. This however is not, I can't see me losing this pencil anytime soon in the thick, snug elastic that holds it in place. I haven't decided what I'm going to use this notepad for yet, it can't be anything dog related as that's more suited in diaries for the dates. I might end up using it as a blog post idea pad for when I'm out and about. Can just pop it in my handbag and I'm good to go! A notebook is something I often forget when I head out especially at events. I don't mind taking notes on my phone but would prefer an actual pad.

What do you think of this range? Would you use any of it or any of the other products from Busy B? They have Bride To B and Baby B ranges that look fab too if you're planning a wedding or having a baby. If either ever happen in the future for me, I know exactly where I'll be going!

  1. Oh how cute, I love them! A lot of my stationery features cats as I'm a cat owner but my friend would love these dog themed items! Really enjoyed your post!
