Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac duo

I fucking love a face mask. There is honestly nothing better than slapping one on your face then sitting and doing nothing for 10/15 minutes. I literally have to sit there and do nothing mind you, as soon as I take my glasses off, doing anything that involves using my eyeballs in any way is out the window. (Remember my Things I hate about wearing glasses post? I should have added this point!) I'm yet to find a type of face mask I don't like, I love self heating, peel offs, clay, you name it, I dig it babe. Of course when I came across the Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac duo in Poundland, I just couldn't resist. Two facemasks for a pound, hell yeah I'm buying them.

Skye Diaries: Torrin's Secret Beach

Welcome to part 2 of my Skye Diaries! In my last post, I told you all about where we stayed on the island, Torrin. This post is almost a follow on as it's all about Torrin's very own secret beach! I know, beaches in Scotland,  not always the best and unfortunately the day we ventured down was absolutely miserable but I couldn't not include it. If you do ever find yourself close by to Torrin and it's a nice day, please find the secret beach and show me what it looks like when the sun hits it!

Things I hate about wearing glasses

Glasses can sometimes just be a pain in the arse right? I've been wearing glasses since I was 6 (that's almost 21 years and I just cringed so hard). I've lived through many styles, so many breaks, a lot of dodgy pairs and some beautiful pairs. Today though I'm talking about all the things I hate about wearing glasses and let me tell you, there are quite a few things!

Our dog George

Let's paint a picture shall we, it's 11.30 at night, Euan is playing Fallout 4 or something on his PS4 and I'm sat on my laptop looking at all the dogs in the Glasgow and West Calder's branches of the Dogs Trust. Every 2 seconds "Oh my god Euan look at this one!" and then it happened. I opened yet another tab and burst into tears, I was greeted by this derpy looking dog that stole my heart instantly.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

I hate buying foundation. It's such a pain in the arse. I can't buy it online because I can't be sure the shade will be right for me so I then have to go into the shops and try every shade on the back of my hand (which doesn't even give you an accurate match, but honestly, who is going to swatch something on their face in the middle of a shop?) then I get to go home and try it out and pray to the foundation gods that it does actually match my face. Honestly even one shade wrong and I look like an oompa loompa.

Skye Diaries: Torrin

Old Church, Torrin

If you pay attention to any of my social medias, you'll have noticed a couple weeks ago I was up in Skye. I've finally managed to go through all my camera pictures and sort them out to get the posts I told myself I'd write while we were up there. Took my laptop up and everything!

August in Edinburgh

August in Edinburgh can only mean one thing, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! Offically kicking off today, I cannot fucking wait to totally submerge myself in the fringey fun as much as I can. Yes I'm one of those people who lives in Edinburgh but still totally thrives on the festival atmosphere. The city comes so alive, there's so much to do and sure there are some negative points but overall it's a bloody fantastic month.
